About the role
### Program Overview The Nexlyra Engineering Apprenticeship is not a coffee-fetching internship. It is an authentic, rigorous 12-week skill accelerator where you work directly on production code under the 1-on-1 mentorship of senior engineers. Our objective is simple: develop promising regional and national engineering talent into production-ready engineers and extend full-time Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) upon graduation. ### 12-Week Progression Curriculum - **Phase 1 (Weeks 1–3):** Foundation, Codebase Immersion, Git workflows, and Nexlyra Learning Academy tracks. - **Phase 2 (Weeks 4–6):** Core Engineering, real bug triage, automated testing, and code review standards. - **Phase 3 (Weeks 7–9):** Applied Feature Delivery, building client deliverables, and contributing to production milestones. - **Phase 4 (Weeks 10–12):** Capstone Engineering Project, technical presentation to leadership, and PPO evaluation. ### What You Receive - Direct 1-on-1 weekly code reviews with the Senior Engineering Lead and Founders. - Official Nexlyra Apprenticeship Credentials and cryptographically verified tamper-proof completion certificate. - Priority consideration for full-time Software Engineer positions with competitive starting packages. - Full access to all Nexlyra Learning Academy courses, lecture transcripts, and proprietary resources.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or demonstrable self-taught technical capability. - Solid foundational knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and modern web concepts. - Eagerness to learn, accept constructive code reviews, and push code frequently. - High intellectual curiosity and genuine dedication to the craft of software engineering. - Based in or able to commute to Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, or maintain reliable high-speed broadband for hybrid participation.
