About the role
At Nexlyra, we are looking for highly motivated freshers to join our team as Machine Learning Engineer Interns. This is a rigorous, hands-on, unpaid internship designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and production-level engineering. During this program, you will not be working in a sandbox. You will tackle massive, messy datasets and build end-to-end ML pipelines that solve actual business challenges in real estate, IT infrastructure, and supply chain management. We treat our interns like junior engineers, giving you the mentorship and tough projects needed to build a standout portfolio. What You Will Do: - Data Analytics & Engineering: Perform deep Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) on large datasets to uncover hidden patterns and anomalies. - Feature Engineering: Clean, transform, and prepare data pipelines using Pandas and NumPy. - Model Building: Train, validate, and optimize predictive models using Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, and other ML frameworks. - Deployment Basics: Learn how ML models are serialized and served via APIs for production environments. The Takeaway: While this is an unpaid position, the ultimate currency here is experience. Requirements
